He started his career as an Advocate in 1995 and moved to Finance & Accounts in 1996. Between 1998-2003, he worked as an Accounts Officer in Finance Company and later he worked as an Asst.Manager (Finance) in Andhra Electronics Limited. Thereafter, he worked in A.P. Net Work Project, I T & C., Department and Government of A.P. as Finance & Accounts Officer in 2003 and moved to Vah Magna Retail Private Limited as a Company Secretary. In the year 2007, Joined as a Company Secretary in VBC Ferro Alloys Limited and promoted as AGM (Finance) & Company Secretary & thereafter transferred his services to VBC Power Company Ltd as a GM (Finance & Corporate Affairs). In the year 2017, he designated as CFO & Company Secretary in Orissa Power Consortium Limited.

Shri Murthy is an Associate Member of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India & Institute of Company Secretaries of India and also holds a Master’s Degree in Commerce & Management and Bachelor Degree in Law. Shri Murthy has vast experience of more than 27 years in the core areas of Finance with in-depth understanding and vast knowledge of Financial, Legal, Contractual and Regulatory issues involved in construction as well operations of Ferro Alloys/Hydro & Solar Projects. He is also having in depth knowledge of preparation of DPRs and Fund raising for Hydro, Solar & Thermal Power Projects from Financial Institutions and Banks.

He also specialises in the field of Corporate Laws, Foreign Exchange Laws and Taxation Laws. His leadership qualities, ability to work hard with conceptual clarity and professionalism are Outstanding.
